Hello.
I've set this blog up with the intention of sharing images and thoughts as I set out on the adventure of a 52 week photo project at the Nikon Cafe. What is the project? Well it is about setting yourself some objectives and posting images on the Cafe site each week with the end point being that each participant will have a 52 week photographic record of 2009 from whatever aspect they chose.
My objective is to use only my manual focus lenses for the project. The lens I have at this point which fit the bill are: (all Nikkors) 15mm f3.5, 24mm f2, 35mm f2 and 35mm f2.8PC. I guess that I could also use my non-AF TC1.4 teleconverter on any of my lenses as that would make them all manual focus as well, we'll see.
Here is the first image, taken with the 24 mm lens, the image is of the sun setting at the southern end of our Wairarapa Valley taken from the road at Te Whiti, near Masterton 1st January 2009.
